ICan you add a funktion if there is no field DTEND than it should use the field DURATION and calculate the endtime from DTSTART + DURATION?

What do you mean with duration? actually we use the default range date event automatically based on iCal file..

Hi some Ical - files have no DTEND but DURATION . calculate the endtime from DTSTART + DURATION ( example : DTSTART : 20150628T080000Z DURATION : PT3H0M0 means 8:00 start time , end time = starttime plus 3 hours a day - > 11:00 clock )

can you provide me your sample ical file? where did you get it? seems that ical is not standard, I am using .ics file from mac iCal

I have some of them , for example www.5gig.de . But other use . I would have helped if the end date and time , the startdate and starttime would be so long either no Endataum or ending time is specified or duration is used .

I am sure they are not in standard format.. if you think jomsocial should impelement this as well, I suggest you post to our user voices section..
