ISSUE SUMMARY:

Good evening

Basically, when I click on an event it shows the words "EVENT DETAILS" but you must click this to collapse the details. I do not care for this as it's another step for users to take instead of getting right to it.

How do I make the event details description open and viewable when the user clicks on the events?

Lastly, how do I remove the "EVENT BANNER" description and shadow over the image?

Hi,

You can setup it from theme designer, open Jomsocial backend->theme designer->event, change "default tab" to description
