Can't select users to invite

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Inside an event can't select users to iinvite

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 I enter to tresjolie.com.ar/crear-una-salida-grupal...go-preferiado-gratis
2 Click on INVITE FRIENDS
3 Nothing is displayed

RESULT No users are displayed to select
EXPECTED RESULT users displayed to select and invite

Hi, Carla.

You have over 30k friends (!)... that's too much to display and there is no pagination in this window.
So only option is to start typing your friends name and list will start to populate.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Is there a way to limit the display to 1000 friends so I can select them all?

No, 1k is also too much. You'll get timeouts or db limit quota exceeded.
Too much data to ask in db and to display at once (your site is alerady running slow due to a lot of scripts).
The only way is what I mentioned above.

No :) Window acquire data from database. Imagine how long it will load over 30k records (avatar, profile url and profile name). Then imagine processing invitations made to 30k users... and sending emails at once... and notification...

Your server will noose down to oblivion :)

Hi,
I meant to do it via a query in phpmyadmin to select all. Because that's exactly what I need to invite all the users to a event of the site and it would be great the email sending.

I think that more effective (an simple) method will be to send an newsletter to all your users (you may use Acymailing a great newsletter extension) or send a mass email with invitation (link to event with some text).

You may try: Backend -> Component -> JomSocial -> Tools -> Mass messeging.
