cannot change event cover with amazon s3 remote storage
ISSUE SUMMARY:
we are trying to change the cover for an event
1. upload new photo
2. position the photo
3. the cover is visible
4. click save.
5. leave the event page by going to another page
6. click the event to view details
7. the cover photo is back to default image
just to add, our images are stored in amazon s3. the process works as i see the uploaded images in our s3 bucket. my problem is i dont see it appear as an event cover page.
this is also an issue with the profile cover page, it does not get changed.
once i change jomsocial config so that images and files are taken from local instead of amazon s3. the process works. i know it used to work before , but its been like 4 months that we have not used the feature due to this non working feature.
is there something i can change or update in jomsocial. i am presently using jomsocial 3.215, but i know its the same issue with version 4.0 so i did not upgrade as yet our main site
or is there something i missed in setting up the amazon s3, such that jomsocial is restricted. but then again , jomsocial is able to write or upload the photo to the bucket, but why cant it read it back.

Please, upgrade to latest version of JomSocial -> 4.0.9.
This issue should be fixed on that version.
You may do a copy of your site and upgrade it, then check if issues persist.

Yes, I confirm. Issue was reported at 15 of May:
prntscr.com/83b1zt
for JS 4.0.6 and fixed 21 of May.
So fix is included in 4.0.9.
