Jomsocial - Event Sharing from Event Detail Page

Hello Team,

When I share an event to Facebook, the image and the description is not displayed. It is working fine for google plus but facebook for some reason does not pull up the expected results. It just shows the site URL on the shared post.

I came across a solution from the below thread. It was said to replace the view.html.php file but we have some customizations in that particular file. Can you tell us the function or lines we need to replace to make this functionality work, if this is the correct solution. We have also provided the FTP credentials.

You're using outdated and unsupported version of JomSocial.
Please, upgrade to most recent version -> 4.0.9.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
