ISSUE SUMMARY:

Invite Friends to event is not working on JS 4.1 on your Community Forum (if you are not the Event Admin).


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 go to event www.jomsocial.com/community/events/viewe...coming-jomsocial-4-1
2 click 'invite friends'
3 choose a friend
4 Send

RESULT No email invitation received, no notification on site. If you try to invite the same friend again you can (Normally you can't)
EXPECTED RESULT
- Email invitation should be received
- event notification should show on global notifications.
- If you try to invite the same friend again you can't, as it says 'Invited'

I have seen you provided a fix here for the previous version here, but I don't know if that covered all 3 bugs above.

Hi, I have tried again and

- site notification WAS received (global notifications)
- but email notification was not received (despite preferences to receive email for invitations)
- I could invite friend more than once and 'invited' did not show in list in pop up box
- after the friend declined the invitation I invited them again and it appeared in their site notifications again
