Calendar Grid Alternatives

ISSUE SUMMARY:
The calendar grid has been deprecated in V4 (awaiting V4.1 - www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/27865-show-calendar-grid ). In the mean time without any timescales, is there an alternative to allow a calendar grid to be shown?

Would something like www.jomsocial.com/addons/calendar-a-events/zap-calendar work?

I'm quite disappointed by this. Firstly the functionality is removed, and then there is no ETA for when it will be replaced.

Seriously looking for an alternative.
