Duplicated recent activity after upgrade

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I'm trialling an upgrade of joomla and jomsocial on www.archives.org.uk to the latest version. From Joomla 2.5.22, jomsocial 2.4.3.

I'm doing it all on a backup of the site hosted at migrate.archives.org.uk

We've noticed that recent activity for events seems to be duplicated over and over in the new version. The current upgraded version is here:
migrate.archives.org.uk/events/viewevent...l-world-webinar.html
The live old version is here:
www.archives.org.uk/events/viewevent/343...l-world-webinar.html

Any idea why this is happening?

Please bear in mind that anything you do to fix this, I need to know so I can do it again when I redo the upgrade on the live site.

Many thanks,

Matt

Hi, Darren.

I assign developer to this thread.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi,

Sorry, my htaccess file was blocking access from unknown IP addresses.

Can you try again please?

Just bear in mind your browser may have cached the redirection if it doesn't work on your first attempt..

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Darren,

I see, this is because of the new stream on newest version already changed, and some of old streams wont work well on newest version. And regarding "attending event" stream I already delete the rest, and showing one stream now.

thank you

Hi,

Thanks.

The issue is not with just that one event though, it's on loads of them, such as this one:
migrate.archives.org.uk/events/viewevent...rvation-webinar.html

Please can you let me know the steps you go through to fix this because when I am ready to go live with the update, I will be doing it all again from scratch, so I will need to know how to fix this myself without asking you again.

Change of plan. Due to the events calendar being deprecated, we are only going to upgrade jomsocial as far as version 3.2 until a time when a suitable events calendar view is available again. So please don't make any changes to the site now.

Thanks for your help.

Matt
