"Create Event" option displaying with event creation disabled

ISSUE SUMMARY:
The "Create Event" option is displaying to 2 places, after disabling event creation:
1. On the "Community - Events" Plugin in the sidebar of the user profile
2. In the status update box (gives option to post event)
It doesn't allow events to be create ("Access forbidden"), but I don't want the option to display either.

Please note that the site is currently on a development domain, as the listed domain is still hosting the old website)

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Log in with Normal user account ("temp_common" below) - "temp_admin" is a superuser, and jomsocial will allow superusers to create events, even with the option disabled (which is fine).
2 Navigate to profile page (My LIT)
3 See above comments.

Hi, Johann.

Thank you for reporting this.
This is obviously a bug - I'll report it to our developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, John.

Make safe copy of those files:

ROOT/components/com_community/libraries/user.php
ROOT/plugins/community/events/events.php

Then replace original files with patched from package.
