ISSUE SUMMARY:
Is it possible to display a module that only shows events in a selected category, or is it possibly to display in the main body of a page, a list of events from only one category?

By default you can't, but well maybe this topic www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/25120-fea...b-not-showing#124091 is a solution for your module issue :)
