Would like to either edit the timezone list or remove it completely from event creation as all of our events are in the same timezone and always will be. If removal isn't possible, would like to edit the list to show only the applicable timezone for our area.

please goto jomsocial backend > Events > Event Setting > and set Show Time Zone to No.
