RESULT
Map Zoomed in too much

EXPECTED RESULT
Be able to adjust default zoom level in backend Events > Event Settings

Hi Jared,

you must override:
/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/events/single.php
copy it to
/templates/socialize/html/com_community/layouts/events/single.php

at line 399 you can changing it:

zoom: 14,
