Status update on Events - write new activity

I'm using JS4 and the status update composer for Events is not appearing. I can't see any error on the Developer Console.

Could you please take a look?

It seems that something is wrong in your installation.
When trying to access JomSocial dashboard I got blank screen... even if I enabled error reporting, nothing was displayed.

Did you recently upgraded JomSocial?
What method did you used?
Installed on top of older version? Which one?

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I had posted here last week about this blank screen problem, I'm still waiting for a solution.
However, I managed to discover that the dashboard was the only page with problem and got to the other parts of the admin, something that the support didn't tell me (which is pretty bad).

I first did the upgrade using the iJoomla tool. and it didn't go well. Then I removed the component and reinstalled using the traditional Joomla installer.

I don't remember which version I was using, but it wasn't any of the new ones, probably before 3.1

1. Issue with no postbox in Events is caused by your template. I switched to Joomla default template Atomic and post box appears and I was able to post: prntscr.com/6krqm9

Please, contact with template developer.

2. Your second issue ith JomSocial blank dashboard: prntscr.com/6krrbs

I saw that your memory_limit is already 1024M... but something drains it... I don't know what yet as I'll need to display that page and run Joomla! debug tool...

I saw that Albertus is on backend issue.

So I close this thread as we know what cause lack of postbox.
