When I look at the events list, some of the text is overlapping the invite friends button. (See attachment, blue circle).
There are also the:
a. Avatar image is not even.
b. Create event button which I saw someone else already opened a ticket for I will follow on it there.

Questions:
1. How can i customize the language on the edit menu? It is not in override (yellow circle).
2. How/where can i customize the navigation menu inside Events (green square).

Hi Ofer,

that because at jomsocial template folder still containing old jomsocial template
/components/com_community/templates/default

I rename it to /components/com_community/templates/old-default. now the template not messy any more

for "edit settings" you can override this language:
COM_COMMUNITY_SETTINGS="Edit Settings"

or edit it at /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_community.ini

and for nav menu, you must edit:
/components/com_community/helpers/event.php start from line 512 you can see the code
e.g:

$view->addSubmenuItem('index.php?option=com_community&view=events&task=display', JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_ALL') );

I saw you changed the folder name to old-template.
However, this did not resolve the issue.
Take a look at the two screenshots. One with IE11 and the other with Chrome. Issue still there.

As for the override of the COM_COMMUNITY_SETTINGS.
I was able to locate it in En-GB, made a change but it did not change the menu.
and as for En-USA COM_COMMUNITY_SETTINGS cannot be found.
So I cannot resolve that issue either :(

Maybe that your browser cache. try to clear it first. Because at my end, there is no problem any more. only bug at IE email event image (this issue has been reported).

and about:
please goto joomla language manager > overrides (left section) > fillter the language and search for COM_COMMUNITY_SETTINGS, edit it.
