I started new community on domain that is not under the support. Installed fresh Joomla 3.4 and Jomsocial 3.2.1.6.
1. I can't access created events...I am getting message (Error Sorry, we cannot find the specified event)
2. I can't access dicussions..I am getting message ( 500 home/soundbra/automreza/components/com_community/events/groups.trigger.php:101)
I tried to delete code on line 101 but then I am getting this
500 /home/soundbra/automreza/components/com_community/models/wall.php:242
I had the same problems with installation of version 4.0 RC2
Hi, Drazen.
I'm sorry but you hold JomSocial STANDARD subscription. It means that only ONE domain is supported.
Currently it is: soundbrains.net
Your automreza.soundbrains.net is a different site.
Also I noticed that you removed JomSocial branding from soundbrains.net.
You not allowed to do that having STANDARD license.
Please, restore backlink or your subscription will be suspended.
Hi, Drazen.
Please post here:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/billing-issues
a upgrade request.
Our Billing Department staff will contact you.
Hi, Drazen.
Upgrading to PRO solves backlink removal...
But still you request support for your different site/domain.
If you want us to support your domain
automreza.soundbrains.net
, please post here a domain change request:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/billing-issues
But you need to have valid reason to change e.g old domain doesn't work, domain name typo... this change could be done once and your previous domain will be not supported anymore.
I am asking for soundbrains.net forget the other domain for now. If you can see, I wrote in previous post "My discussions and events are not working on my domain with support.".
And how often can I change my supported domain?
Hi, DRazen.
Your issue is caused by menu item error. Try this fix:
When you upgrading JomSocial by uninstalling it, menu items in JomSocial toolbar lost "connection" with component. Joomla! mark them as disabled and with notice: "Component 'com_community' does not exist". In order to fix it please follow this instruction:
- click on menu item in JomSocial menu in order to edit it
- when in edit mode don't change anything
- save
- menu item should be fixed
- do it for every JomSocial related menu items (if needed) in all other menus
Make sure that you fix ALL JomSocial related links that way ;) Especially check Main menu - I saw some manu items with that issue there.
Then check if issue persist.
Well, that depends :) Not too often thought. We see how many times certain domain was supported and changing back and forth is not allowed. So once per domain is reasonable...
