A user created an event and then did 'Send Invites'. She has 200 Friends and wanted to invite them all to the Event. She chose 'Select All' and sent the Invite. Then she didn't know why no-one responded. It turned out that only the A names were Selected and so only those with names starting with A were sent invites. (This was in fact because only the A names had loaded before she clicked Select All).

Then we noticed the Option 'Load More' was displayed. But every time you click 'Load More' only a few names are added to the names shown. It was incredibly laborious to try and load all the names to 'Select All' - there must be a bug

1) if you click Select All you wouldn't expect to have to 'Load' more names - you would expect Select All to mean Select All.
2) If you do need to load more names you would expect it to load 50 names at a time rather than 5. But really, why do you have to 'Load more'??

I agree that it should rather be called "Select all VISIBLE" rather than just "Select all".
Data are loaded in bits to not exhaust server memory... especially in case where user has a lot of friends.

There will be no more fixes for JomSocial 3.2. I'll ask our developers if this will be improved in JomSocial 4.

I've talked with developers. This feature will be improved in JomSocial 4. from now on window will load up to 200 friends. If user has less than 200 users "more" button will be not displayed. If have more than 200, button will be displayed with information how many users are left to load. Clicking button will load next up to 200 users.

This will be an improvement.....

So will the button in 4.0 definitely say 'Select All Visible'?

I think that the 'Load More' needs to be a button outside the box, not a link at the bottom of the list of Loaded users, as you can't actually see the link when the box is full of users! And if you can't see 'Load more' you would think 'Select All Visible' meant all your Friends, as it isn't very logical to users that they have to Load More :-)

So please can 'Load More' become a button next to 'Select All Visible'.
