Hi.

Browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Layout -> Display Settings (box top right) -> Use Text Editor and set JCE.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hello !

Could you refresh the answer to this question dated 2 years ago? I did not found the editor option in JS4.4 and the current default editor is to poor.
Thanks!

HI.

Custom editor feature was deprecated and no longer available.
The only option is to use current editor.

Hi !

Coming back to this question. Just to know if there is any willingness or roadmap to improve the JS core editor (e.g. options to wrap text with padding around images, character size..) without editing html?
Alternative: do you have any recommandation of external editor with html file generation ( in order to copy/paste in the JS editor ?

HI.

As for now there are no plans to expand editor features as it should rather serve for basic texts.
You may try to compose text and html code using JCE editor and paste it to text field.
