Hi,

I imported events in a certain category. All worked fine but they do not appear on community site. Do I have to change settings?

Hi, Jürgen.

All your events are group events... PRIVATE group events.
Events from PRIVATE groups are considered as PRIVATE too... so they will be not displayed on public event list.

I created and event that is public - and it's displayed correctly.
Try yourself ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Thank you for the information.
Can I change the settings for the events to be public although they come from a private group?

Hi, Jürgen.

No, everything that comes from PRIVATE group are considered private (e.g photos, events, videos, discussions etc.).
