When editing an existing event, the event edit page changes the event start and end dates to be 1 day prior to the original event date. Not a huge problem but editing the event should not change the dates.
Hi, Bob.
Hmm... this is second report about this issue.
I can't replicate it on my installation... so could you try on
demo.jomsocial.com/
?
I just upgraded to JS 3.2.1.5 and the behavior is still there. Each time I edit an event the date is moved 1 day forward. I can replicate this on my site. I will also check JS site to see if it happens there as well for me.
Hi, Bob.
Yes, please, try to replicate it on demo site. Then will be know if it's a bug or issue is limited to your site only.
Nevertheless we'll help you solved it.
Please, update this thread after test.
I tried creating a test event yesterday on the demo site but message was that it had to be moderated. Event still not showing. I do not see any events at all on the demo site. If you could add an event that I can edit or allow me to create an event that I can then edit to check that would be great.

Hi, Bob.
You may try on my test site:
www.prolusatia.nazwa.pl/test/
u: bob
pass: test12
I am not able to create an event on your test site.
So, let's try this. Can you confirm that you get the same behavior on my site? Please, log in as administrator (
ridescw ride club
) in the FRONT END and go to this test event that I've created
http://www.ridescw.com/ride-club/community/events/viewevent/723-test-event-10-31-2014
Go to the event details and note the date of the event. Now click options/edit scroll down to the event date and you will notice the date is one day prior to what was noted. If you save this, the event date is now one day earlier.
I would love to confirm this on the JS demo site too. I did do this in the past and I was able to confirm on JS demo site the exact same behavior. But not since the latest JS update though. It sure would be nice if I could create an event on the Demo site to confirm this.

Hi, Bob.
I'm sorry - I just fixed settings on my site. You can try now.
I couldn't replicate this on your site:
prntscr.com/4u5y2d
prntscr.com/4u5y81
When I checked event details it was:
Oct 29 2014 at 05:00 PM - Oct 29 2014 at 06:00 PM
When entered to event edit mode, date and time was the same.
I created an event on 10/31/2014 on your demo site. I edited the event and sure enough, the event date is now 10/30/2104.
Do you want to screen share to see it for yourself? I don't know what to do next. Let me know.
Bob
Hi, Bob.
That extremely strange as it not happening to me... even if I edit your event (on my or on your site).
Could you try do the same with another browser (on your community should be enough)?
Also - if browser change will not work - try this:
www.jomsocial.com/blog/3-1-0-2-hot-fix-and-bugs-that-are-not
Fix under "Issues that are not'.
Unfortunetly the file is apparently different than the posting as the $html for the date format does not exist. I didn't want to get in over my head with php as I am a bike shop mechanic/owner and this would be bad. I did see there was a dateformat with the "-" that I changed to a "/" but this had no effect on my problem. Not sure what I changed really was the correct place to do it though also.

Hi, Bob.
Ok, I assign developer to this thread.
I am also getting a backup on a server that we can mess around with on a different provider than my main site. I'm pretty sure it's not a server issue as I was on Blue Host, moved to Inmotion Hosting and the problem came with me. I am right now putting a backup server up on godaddy and I suspect it too will exhibit the same problem. I'll resend log in information when dev site is up.
