Hello,
Something strange occurs with events repetition. I just created an event for July 28 whose weekly repetition ending 22 December this year. After making it without any error message does not appear in the list of events, however in its category (Tour) appears that there is a event but clicking on it shows none. Nor have created the corresponding weekly events. The event is called "Tour de Malaca Instituto (Programa General)" and its under "Programa General > Tour" category.
The event can be seen on the main page. But if we try to edit the following message appears: "Events - Restricted Access"

Hello Albertus,
Thanks for this information. Indeed, is not the first time a user reports this problem, our web site is still under construction. As this does not happen with everyone thought it was something special for these users. But it seems that something is happening in this regard. This happens for 2 months at least.

Hi Juan,
could you provide me the other user who not get this issue (logout). I need to investigate it. maybe there is a plugins causing this.
can I download your site from Akeeba backup. I want make local copy, because in debugging process it must damaging your site in some hours. I don't want take a risk
Regards,
Albert
Hello Albert,
I modified the login information with a new user.
Okay, you can take the last copy of the site from Akeeba. The problem of being logged out from the site could be due to "Cookie Confirm". If you open a session on the backend while in the frontend and cookies are not accepted in the frontend, you will be logged out from the backend, is a clue.

Hello Albert,
I disabled Cookie Confirm plugin as suggested.
Then I created a new event duplicating an existing (Excursion a Marruecos) the new event was created on August 1 with a repeat weekly until December 22.
The event appears in the frontend of website but does not appear in "All Events". If we use the calendar and click on the August 1 nothing appears.
The remaining events are not until December.
Then I enabled Cookie Confirm plugin.
* What about the problem with the user? Still logs you out of the system?
Regards
Hi Juan,
Disabled Cookie Confirm plugin will make logout issue again.
I just tried yo make "Test event - ignore this" with a repeat weekly until December 22. I can see that event from all events and calendar.
or I missing something here?
Regards,
Albert
Hi Albert,
Yes, I think there is something different about our events.
Your event has a start date and an end date on December 22 and the option is checked weekly.
My event has a start date and an end date two days later. Then choose this 2-day event is repeat each week with a repeat order date until December 22.
That is different from saying that an event has an end date of December 22. (please see file attached)
Moreover, I do not understand exactly what you want to say in your statement:
"Disabled Cookie Confirm plugin will make logout issue again"
Regards
Hi Juan,
sorry, I mean enable Cookie Confirm plugin will make logout issue again. about the repeating event
about The event is called "Tour de Malaca Instituto (Programa General)" i saw start and end date is same day:
Hi Albert,
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry but I'm starting to confuse me. You mean an event that begins and ends the same day will not appear on the list of events? I think you consider that there are events on a day that may last only a few hours or even 1 hour.
In addition to better understand the process of scheduling a periodic repeating event, could you tell me how to do the following:
An event begins on Friday, August 15, starts at 17.00 h. and ends on the same days and 2 hours later, want this event to repeat on Friday of each week throughout the rest of the year and the repitition ends on December 22.
How to program it to display the first event and the subsequent Friday until December 22.
Regards
Hi Juan,
the event repeating is like this:
if today you create event for 1st Agust at 4pm until 1st Aust 8pm, the repeat is every days until 30 Agust. at saving process the system will automatically create repeating event, it will have 30 events at event list.
btw, today we just release version 3.2.1.2, please upgrade it and let me know if the issue still exist.
at my test environment for that version, no any issue about event repeat.
Regards,
Albert
