Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I would like to:
- display the JomSocial calendar module in the main content area of a JomSocial page;
- display events to users according to their Joomla core ACL groups (I have three levels of registered users groups).
Looks like there should be a way to sync Joomla core ACL and JomSocial groups by now, so I suppose the idea as described above could be facilitated by that feature.
Could you please give me an update on this feature?
Current JomSocial doesn't support Joomla! ACL feature.
This will be introduced in JomSocial 3.4... but still not for all features:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Thanks for your reply. It's a pity that ACL integration with the Joomla core is not yet available.
About the first part of my question:

Is there a way to accomplish this? I mean the app box that appears in the side bar of the JomSocial layout, it displays a calendar view (grid) rather than a list of event dates.
