OK... Now I'm having a unique problem with the sharing of an event on Facebook with the socialize template.
For instance when you click the share icon using this event as an example.
sw-louisville.net/events-2/viewevent/24-...t-our-clothes-closet
it takes the event and goes to Facebook. When it formats the event for Facebook it formats it for our main site.
It only does this on the events... the same share icons in our cookbook will share with the appropriate graphics for the recipe.
One other thing we have found is the export to ical does not work with the new OSX Mac Maverics calendar program.

Hi Allen,
This is weird, in your website cant read this code:
<meta property="og:type" content="website"/>
<meta property="og:url" content="http://xxxx"/>
<meta property="og:title" content="title"/>
I just edited and updated the ftp direct host / the username is a full e-mail address must use the entire e-mail address
The password is a very strong password make sure you notice the $ is for the S and the numeral 1 is for the L's.

Just discovered the share button does not work on photos... photo albums. Both are only showing the main site's data.
I need the ability to share photo albums and more too. I would expect this is a global break now... not just an event break.

I an confirm now that any place that Jomsocial puts their share button on my site on socialize does not work. It only feeds my site's metadata out. However it is working if I copy/paste a classified advertisement into Facebook... it will share the metadata and extract the images from the classified ad.
This is most definitely a Joomsocial / socialize template bug or error and a big one in my opinion. I hope this gets me some sort of Kudos points for finding it. Love you guys and I'm always glad to help.
I especially want to shout out Dimas to Merav and his supervisors... Dimas is awesome I really appreciate his help and give a shout out to Albertus for showing me where tweaks to the css overrides go... he's created a CSS monster in me. Thanks guys! I wish everyone were as customer focused as you guys.

Hi Allen,
Thank you very much for you kind words :)
I see.. this issue caused by the community (photos, events, etc..) section is private, and public can't see it..thats why when you share the jomsocial page it will detect the meta data from the home page. If you set the community (photos, events, etc..) as public everything will work fine..
thank you

Dimas,
My events are anything but private... they are viewable by anyone who does not even have a login account. I need especially to share these events... I am lost what do I need to change, please I need a helping hand on this as I just don't get this one.

Hi Allen,
The events system has private events by way of invitation, if an event is ticked as private you cannot choose to attend the event unless you have been invited, like with all events, if you are not attending then you cannot see anything on the wall or participate in the event. The text saying make event private has actually been changed to "make event invitation only" in the next release. This will hopefully clear up any confusion about how private events work in jomsocial
