Hi All, I put this in Events because it is the event stream items I ultimately want to subdue.

How to I change which activities show up on my homepage activity stream? Seems like too much is posted and important things get lost down the page. For example, when I create a new event, I am glad that shows on the stream. However, when I change the cover graphic or event icon, I do not need those changes listed to the front page activity stream.

There must be a setting somewhere to control which activities get listed on the main activity stream. I just can't find it.

Thanks for your help,
Andy

Hi Andrew,

This is can be configured from user points configuration.. go to Jomsocial Configuration->User Points, you can disabled the stream item by disabling the user points items.

I hope it will help.

thank you

Thank you for that information. I now know where and how to disable things in the activity stream!

However, I do not see an entry in that list that covers the stream activity for event modifications, like changing the event icon or event cover photo. I disable a number of them thinking those might turn it off, but after disabling, I went back and changed an event cover photo and it still posts as activity.

Do you know specifically which one covers events? None of them include Events in the description.

Thanks
Andy

Correction: There is one labeled "Event Updated: Assign number of points when user update event information." but that one does not apply to changing of the event avatar or cover photo.

I updated the admin password in the original post. It should work now. I looked in the User Points area and searched for the word "cover" and "avatar" and they are not there.

Thank you. I did not know that "Rule Scan" would magically reveal more options. Thank you!
