This post was from about 4 weeks!!!

i have the issue too and i need a solution. its a base functionality that needed to be fixed much faster!
Hi Dennis,
That issue already marked as bug, and will be fixed in version 3.3, but we will provide you the patch as soon as possible, when our dev already fix this.
thank you
Hello Dimas,
thanks, but to be honest. On an existing community it is not acceptable to have a fix x weeks later.
This is a bug and not some new feature, so it has to be fixed immediatly.
What would you say to your existing community members? or paid members?
In this case the admin has a lot of troubles, maybe he has to pay back the money...
And in my case i cant develop further my site, because events are an essential part of it with depending other modules and plugins...
I really hope, this never happen again! I wait for the patch...
Hi Dennis,
Here is the fix for this issue
Please replace the file in the attached zip
Path components/com_community/templates/default/
May I know how to replicate it and provide us the screenshoot please..Dennis wrote: Thanks Paul.
In the meanwhile i also noticed, that all recurring events are not deleted if i delete them in the frontend.
They are therefore in the database....
create a recurring event, weekly for one year. later try to delety the series.
you will get a success notification, but the events are still in the database.
i noticed it, because i use a map module, so it showed me the existing events
Hi Dennis,
YOu need delete them all manually one by one..
Anyway, so this issue caused by map module and not caused by jomsocial, am I right?
thank you
Hi Dennis,
I am able to replicate this on one of our test sites so i will speak with the developer today and either the developer or myself will update you on the status of this.
Hi Dennis,
Attached is the fix for the reocurring dates not being deleted form the database. Please replace the file in the zip package at this path
components/com_community/controllers/events.php
Always make a backup of the original before replacing the file
