dear support,

I get the message "You are not allowed to access this section."

When I click on all events which are posted in public groups.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Von.

Please, upgrade to current version of JomSocial -> 3.2.0.5 (you have 3.2.0.4) and check if issue persist.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

hi michal,

the upgrade to 3.2.0.5 fixed it but the now when I click on all videos for the group - the group videos do not display anymore.

do I need to open a new ticket for this?

Hi, Von.

It happens because Jomsocial is home element on your site.
I changed Blog to be home element and now videos are available. Other solution is to disable SEF... but you probably don't want it.
Also try to upgrade to JomSocial 3.2.0.6 and check if issue persist.
If persist, then just change home elements and videos will work.
