was trying to set up events up to 12 months in advance by using the status form - but the datepicker only goes a few months ahead- is there a way to make the calendar go as far ahead as you would like? i dont see the point in restricting it?

There isn't a restriction set on events from the status post box, you can try it at demo.jomsocial.com

If you cant find why this is happening on your site then please provide site access or a test environment for us to look at it for you
