=> No, I can NOT upgrade to the latest version. I have several major components that do not support latest jomsocial. Also, please do NOT make any changes on my site.

=> I notice this problem only recently. It worked fine before. Can you please check and see if this is a configuration problem? or provide a solution.

I will try to solve this, bu i cant promise because this issue caused by old jomsocial version.

Simply you provide me FTP access so i can inspect this further.

I can't provide ftp access -- it's limited to certain IP addresses. Can you tell me why would those features reqiure login? Where in the code or settings could be required a login pop-up for nearby and calendar? If you can point me out, I can correct it on my end.

By default the login is not required for search nearby location, this is related Jomsocial configuration issue.. so I need to trace the code.

For pointer you can check this file components/com_community/controllers/event.php this function ajaxDisplayNearbyEvents()
