Hi Chris
Could you confirm which one works fine? Please see the attached screenshots
I only have two events at the moment – I see in the 1st event it pulls thru 90% of the description but not the register here link – and also it appears to have HTML code in it , in the second event it only pulls the first line of the information and again appears to have HTML code in it
regards
Alan

Hi, Alan.

Could you attach ical files for both of your events?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Alan.

This is what ical file contains:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:2.0
BEGIN:VEVENT
URL:http://channelfocuscommunity.net/sample-sites/group/events/viewevent/3-is-your-channel-sales-team-listening-startling-findings-from-recent-zs-associate-research?groupid=1
DTSTART:20140625T090000
DTEND:20140625T100000
SUMMARY:Is Your Channel Sales Team Listening? Startling Findings from Recent ZS Associate Research
DESCRIPTION:<p>ZS Associates recently surveyed 215 North American IT channel partners to assess how well the channel feels vendors are listening to partner concerns and acting upon their suggestions. Collectively, surveyed partners provided feedback on close to 500 vendor-partner relationships. <br /><br />Join us on June 25 at 9am PT/12pm ET to review the findings of this interesting research and discuss implications...</p>
<p><a href=" www1.gotomeeting.com/register/490414104 ">Register here</a></p>
LOCATION:Virtual
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

So there is everything, date of start and end, summary and description.

Its rather IMPORT issue than EXPORT :) I tested your Event ical files and in Google second paragrapg was always removed. So only first <p></p> is imported. I'm afraid that we can't do anything about it as it depends from application that imports ical file...

But there is soultion for this. Just place everything within one <p></p> so your description will look like:

DESCRIPTION:<p>ZS Associates recently surveyed 215 North American IT channel partners to assess how well the channel feels vendors are listening to partner concerns and acting upon their suggestions. It works: prntscr.com/3pndul .
