Jomsocial Hero - Unable to get discount code to work

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Trying to access JomSocial Hero after purchasing JomSocial Supercharged

On the guru site, I select the course by following the link ( learn.ijoomla.com/component/guru/guruPro...ensions/42-jomsocial ) and select buy.
I have registered.
I then enter the promo code in the spot of the promo code and it does not take. It still wants to charge me 39.99 for 6 months of access.

I am using the code that was posted in my welcome email.
