Valid license not recognized

I renewed my license, upgraded the ijoomla installer to prep for an upgrade to Jomsoical 4.0.1. The ijoomla installer shows the correct license key code, and the correct expiration date in March of 2016, but the installer refuses the upgrade with an indication the license is not valid. Please advise.
