Hi guys i cannot download Jomsocial as my "Support" Has run out, i am not interested in support, i just want it for testing purposes. I paid for this about a year and half ago and never used it

Hi, Damian.

When you buy JomSocial you get 6 months free support and ACCESS to updates.
If your subscription is expired - you can't download any new version.
Also versions for testing purposes are available only for those that have active subscription.

So only solution will be to renew your subscription and get 6 months free access to upgrades and latest versions.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

When i bought this it said i had "100% access to the code"

It did not state I was buying support and when your support runs out you cannot download the package. If i knew i was "RENTING" this product i would not of bothered.

Please explain why i cannot download what i payed for ?

"100% access to the code" means that application code is not encrypted - as it is an OPEN Source.
You bought app with subscription. You downloaded version that was available at the time when your subscription was valid.

If you lost your JomSocial version package I'll could send you a copy.

But what you ask now is access to upgrades. This is not available when subscription expired.

So you're not renting application. You get your copy - that what you paid for. And had access to upgrades/support for 6 months.
You could renew at any moment.

Hi where exactly did i ask this "But what you ask now is access to upgrades."

All i want is what i paid for ;) i am not looking for the newest version, i just want the product for my own "testing " purposes.

No, problem I can send you latest available version for your subscription before it expired.
Edit your first post and provide license number and date when it expired, in "Miscellaneous" field.
