The reason I need support is the following. I have been using 2.6 till now and tried to upgrade to 2.8 but it didnt go well (most of my icons in de community extension are not showing for instance).
Looked around on the Jomsocial forum how to do this best etc.. But what I am trying now is deinstalling everything and installling
2.8 from zero. But somehow I dont see it in my extensions so I can deinstall it.

1. can I give the logins so you can take a look and then point me in the right direction?
2. can I get support for just this part of the reinstall?

Hi Evan,

If you need to get an old version of JomSocial you will need to renew the license. This is the only way you can access to old JS versions.

I didn't have experience downgrading from 2.8 to 2.6 and honestly I'm not sure if it will work fine since both versions could have different dbase table structures. And, if you have plan to rebuild your site in my opinion you should start with the latest JS version for J! 2.5 or even better the one valid for J! 3.x.

As Michal told you, from download page you will be able to renew and get up to 50% OFF during this process.

Anyway I will try to talk with our programmers to confirm how difficult could be to downgrade the license. I'll be back with you soon.

I just talked with our programmers and JS 2.8 just add new fields to dbase tables so, you could downgrade to 2.6 just reinstalling the extension. Anyway, remember that both versions aren't supported since they were discontinued in 2012.

1. I want to downgrade my license! Not my JS. I just need it for one domain.
How do I do this.

2. Later on I will need some support because I have problems deinstalling my JS extension.
I dont see it in my extensions in my Joomla CMS. But that is later.
