Trying to update JomSocial from within the updater and getting this error, "This license is invalid. Please contact us for more information!"

I copy/pasted directly from My Account page, and the support domain is correct.

What should I do?

Could you let me know what's the url where you are trying to install the extension?

If you need the extension installed urgently remember that you can install it as any other regular J! extension with the downloaded file.

If not, please send me that URL and we will investigate the issue.

Everything looks fine from here. Please open a thread on this forum:

Grant us J! backend access and we will investigate what could cause that issue.

I attempted a manual update, now JomSocial is unusable. I started a new thread since I did not know that this one has been replied to.

Hi Bill,

You have to enable the forum notifications to receive updates when you open a message. By default it is enabled, maybe you disabled it or if it's enabled the notification could be on your SPAM folder.

Anyway, we released a new installer version a couple of days ago. If you download the product again and try with the new installer I think it will work. But if it doesn't follow the instructions I gave you and I will help you to fix that.
