In trying to update HawaiiHomegrown, but i'm unable to ... and i'm unsure why.

I purchased the following:
Developer Edition - 5 Domains (#10703)
Purchased on: 09-14-2013

But in the details, it says it expired 50 days ago. (!)

I also purchased a Professional Edition on 1-22-2014, but when I enter HawaiiHomegrown, I still can't update.

To add to the confusion, the invoice says I paid $84.80 for the Developer Edition.

Thanks in advance for helping...... and thanks for putting out such a great component!

Hi Alex,

If you are using the installer you have to use this license ID: 100014414

If not, you could install the latest version by using the downloaded package.

Please let me know if the problem persists.

Best regards,

I think I understand now...
The Developer version was a 'renewal' (6 months), which has now expired.

I'll renew it, as we need to upgrade other sites.... speaking of which:

We're updating a Joomla 2.5 website with JomSocial installed (v. 2.6.0) to Joomla 3 with the latest JomSocial.

What's the process?
Do we first upgrade JomSocial to the latest, THEN upgrade Joomla?

Or do we upgrade Joomla THEN upgrade JomSocial?

Any other tips or things to watch out for?

Hi Alex,

I always prefer to migrate an updated site. So, my suggestion is to update all extensions on your current site and then migrate to latest J! version.

If you have more questions regarding this please visit our support forums for that.
