Do you think that for small sites that are just starting out, it would be beneficial to hide the activity stream? I wonder if a visitor sees that a few members post hours or days apart could influence their decision to join or not?

nethawk JomSocial Backend -> Configuration -> Layout -> Show Activity Stream -> Members Only doesnt work -- buggy script 10 years ago

Detlef Hello@all nethawk thats right! I have the same big problem, after update from 4.0.2 to 4.0.3 activity Stream visible fo all Guest. That is a big Problem. Additional all privacy settings for all User doesn`t work :-(
