is there any known issues with JomSocial 4.0 and Joomla 3.6.2? It is working fine but in administrator I get this:

If you want to use with Joomla 3.6.2, you need to upgrade your Jomsocial to 4.2.4

Alright I see that now. I've restored my old core.php file to get my site up and running. JomSocial should help customers on 4.0 as well if 3.6.2 has broken your plugin and it is a necessary security update. I still can't get into my admin.

Well you said it right there. You supported JomSocial 3.x for over 2 years and you are dropping 4.0 after 18 Months. It's not unreasonable that a fix is offered when a major highy recommended release of the core platform it runs on breaks your plugin. I am fully intending to upgrade but cannot afford it yet. Last question, if you still support 4.1.x why does the patch only help people on 4.2.x? Doesn't that contradict your policy of supporting one version behind? And if you did offer a patch for 4.1.x then you could let people like me upgrade to that version ( which is out of date anyway) to get them out of trouble. I am a loyal customer and gestures like this keep people loyal.

I am using 4.0. I was just wondering about 4.1 since the patch was supposedly for 4.2.x. I guess I have to wait until I can afford to renew my subscription.
