Has the recurring event feature been dropped from events, or is it due to reappear soon?

It's not a bug, but I'm not sure the cover image works in the groups and events list pages. v3 used the avatar, but unless your prepared to create a cover so that the portion displayed makes sense (and 'Joe Public' won't!) then using the avatar would make more sense surely? The best solution would be a scaled down cover image...that would look cool!!
