How would you create multiple Social Communities within 1 Website?
Has anyone done this?

i.e. Multiple Social Communities with the same groups where Users only see profiles and interact with their Social Community

If not, is there a way to do it with sub-domains?

I know you can use ACL Rules and restrict viewing by Profile Type and each Community could be a different Profile Type.

Would that restrict seeing Users of a different profile type OR would you see the other users and not be able to Click on them and view their profile?

Is there a way to apply an ACL to only view the same profile type vs. restricting access of viewing other profile types?
