Alex Hmm funny just checked out a new JS addon in the back-end of my Joomla! website while in JS component not even 5 minutes ago and the post was for "module JS Toolbar Everywhere." It looks like this is something similar to what I think is really really important, but I'm not going to even bother with it because their website looks terrible and I don't trust extensions that come from what seems to be...Hmm funny just checked out a new JS addon in the back-end of my Joomla! website while in JS component not even 5 minutes ago and the post was for "module JS Toolbar Everywhere." Ultimately, support for a new community toolbar with search, notifications, login/logout access, profile with avatar etc should be updated with new Socialize template. Maybe you guys don't think this is as important as new JS 4.1 which I agree it isn't, but it is still nonetheless very important to provide update and support for Socialize and this very important toolbar. I really really hope you guys have plans to re-write the code for this toolbar because even besides the missing live search feature that JS toolbar supports, I noticed even the live notifications do not work as good and requires refreshing or changing the page to update. I think that this is actually extremely important and should be immediately addressed if you guys don't even have plans to update the toolbar with new release of Socialize theme. I'm sure there's a million things going on behind the scenes at JS, but please realize updated support for Socialize and Socialize toolbar is also very very important!!! Heck, I'd say the toolbar is even the most important thing! Anyone can just use either a free version of JA template with T3 framework or make one from scratch using fresh T3, but that toolbar is what integrates JS component with the ENTIRE website since it is published at the top of all pages and is an integral part of the entire theme for the website and the entire website experience in general. I love what you guys have and I know your customers can be demanding, but I hope you realize how important this is! I don't necessarily want the template to come with a whole suit of new assets and template extensions such as sliders or galleries like JA has with a lot of their templates, I just want you guys to fix the Socialize community toolbar. It was never my intended main point. I don't understand how that's how you replied to me both times as if I'm asking for some crazy new feature when that's not what I'm asking about at all! So yeah fix notifications and search feature. Also, the way it loads is one of the biggest complaints I have about my ENTIRE website so far! I also have Easy Blog+Easy Discuss and JS is great, way better than Easy Social, I'll give that to you guys, truly a great product, but that community toolbar definitely needs a big update to match everything else! That is really all I was trying to say. But yeah I don't know why, but the way it loads it always displays really really strange Chinese or random square characters for each icon and bounces and moves around a lot when loading different pages. I don't care what you guys think, but this one thing in particular is the one thing that needs the most attention right after JS 4.1 has just been released. Even before JS 4.1 this toolbar update should have been addressed...Easy Blog and Easy Discuss are practically full blown web apps and they load quickly and flawlessly...your guys' community toolbar takes FOREVER to load and bounces around and looks funny and changes characters sometimes 2-3 different times before fully loading....again on EVERY page load, but yeah slapping two chunks of color between pages using JA T3 framework and some derivative of one of their templates or even fresh T3 from scratch sounds super complicated. I don't care if you rebrand Socialize 3 with keeping everything the same the way it is right now and just perhaps updating the look and feel of the menu just to have a different template file to download and not have it be literally the same exact thing, but this community toolbar is making my website look bad! Also, please don't delete my other comments when I am trying to pay you guys a compliment! Maybe other people will agree with my ideas, views, and perspectives. Honestly, I'm just baffled that you guys are making a social network web app similar to FB and are completely missing out on the importance of the community toolbar and search function. The toolbar for JS I'm sure is great for what it is and does not have loading problems and all of the other problems I am bringing up, but I already decided to unpublish it in favor of having the Socialize version at the top of every page and I don't think it is crazy to want or expect this module to be updated and in accordance to JS even well before 4.1 release. And it's not every browser that gives the terrible Socialize community toolbar loading experience, but it is more than half of them (MAJORITY!!!) including mobile chrome on Android which is a huge portion of smartphone users and Chrome + Firefox on desktop, so to me this is just unacceptable and even for yourselves I'm baffled that you guys don't think this is important...??? It is the most noticeable flaw with my entire website and sticks out like a soar thumb every time on EVERY page load!!! It is such a problem I have thought about abandoning Socialize template in favor of something else and have been experimenting with other templates such as JA Social II and a few others. Michał Alex, if you noticed issues with toolbar... please, report them on Support Forum. And please, try to be short and accurate. Just provide us steps to replicate issue and add printscreens... there is no need to write full novel 10 years ago

Honestly, maybe you guys have not thought about the problem and importance with Socialize community toolbar because on your site you guys are just using JS community toolbar so you don't see how terrible it is and how long it takes to load and all of the problems it has on EVERY page load. And this is not something that can just be fixed personally overnight on support forum just for my website, which is why I was bringing it up to the entire JS community. The bottom line is if you are using Socialize as your template like I am and you are happy with the looks and feels of everything, but just not the performance then I feel as though this should be addressed before releasing new Socialize. Also, once you guys and everyone starts to realize how important this module is what you guys should be doing is making this toolbar the first choice before native JS toolbar. Also, it should be released to all JS active subscription members and not just those who paid more for Socialize. That or make it mandatory to get JS AND Socialize that way users only have ONE toolbar to worry about and you guys as developers only have ONE toolbar to worry about supporting and updating. Why develop two different toolbars and favor JS toolbar when in reality Socialize toolbar is superior in style and aesthetics and looks more like FB and LinkedIn quality. I just don't understand JS team logic with this one...I don't care about Socialize template I care about the toolbar!!! You guys should focus your dev efforts on making ONE toolbar module for ALL users independent of what aftermarket third party template users choose to have. Honestly I hope deep down you see the point I am trying to make and I hope you agree with me because just think about the freedom and flexibility your customers will now have to choose any desired template they want, but with having the new modern best looking version of JS toolbar. Even for your own site I would prefer Socialize version of toolbar! JS toolbar is not modern, high tech, or aesthetically pleasing. At all! Honestly it looks like crap in comparison to Socialize toolbar. All users would have to do is make menu types for groups and events or make a module for it and then they could easily say bye bye to JS toolbar. Perhaps JS toolbar served its purpose in the past, but now it is time to upgrade your entire product line and please please please recognize that JS toolbar has got to go in favor for new modern much higher aesthetically pleasing Socialize toolbar. Also, maybe this new and improved toolbar module would allow for icon customization and page links. So instead of having to create a new menu type for events and groups, you could put those menu type pages as icons in new and improved toolbar. Just an idea, but personally and for now I am happy with the simple options and icons it currently has for it is just like FB or LinkedIn, I just don't like its terrible performance and lack of new JS 4.1 search features in the Socialize search toolbar and lack of same live search feature even before JS 4.1. I like that is is clean and simple and the options and icons are okay for now no need to go crazy with back-end page link and icon customization, but for immediate critical needs the performance and loading needs to be addressed and then of course having the same live search feature as what you guys just did for new native JS 4.1 toolbar. I really wish this could have been on your minds while developing JS 4.1, but I hope I have now brought this critical issue and a whole new way of using and interacting with JS to the table....And no it wouldn't be a bad idea to allow new Socialize theme to support custom icons and page types on toolbar as if using it as a menu and then still allow JA and T3 template standards to allow for other megamenu function for other pages in website. Thanks and I hope you guys don't just "consider this," but I hope you address this HUGE performance discrepancy between two of your most popular products!!!
