Hello. Do you use "Jomsocial Notification module" with JS4.2.4 and Joomla 3.6.2 (with DB fix)? Can you please check it:
1) login at frontend with "remember me" option. Make sure, you can see "Jomsocial Notification module".
2) close browser.
3) wait for "Session Lifetime" ends.
4) visit site again.
RESULT: "Jomsocial Notification module" disappear (nothing in source page's code)? To see it again...

Dmitry I tested it on clear Joomla 3.6.2 and Jomsocial 4.2.4 and gain this problem. User have to logout and login again to see "Jomsocial Notification module" again. 8 years ago

Dmitry Also (after "Session Lifetime" ends) there is "Members module (online userss)" hides this user. User need to logout and login again to see himself inside this module. 8 years ago

Dmitry Thanks and sorry. It strange, but I tested it with clear joomla before and "Session Handler: Database". I was sure, it should works like that (newer logout if "remember me" was turned on).

Dmitry Sorry, I was mistaken - I used "JS Notifications" from latest JS package (not JS Notify) and on life site problem appear exactly after update to J3.6.x (and in test site instantly). Still can't believe that Joomla unloging users if they close browsers. For example, today I didn't logged in to jomsocial.com (it still remember me in Google Chrome) 8 years ago

I continued to make test and created clear demo site at jomsocial.demojoomla.com/index.php/jomsocial with demo/demo accaunt and "Session Lifetime: 2 minutes". There is no need to logout to see some problems:
step 1: login as demo/demo.
step 2: wait for >2 minutes and refresh page.
Result: JS Notification's icons disapper.
Can you please check it? I tried it with Google Chome and Firefox -...
