Hell. Is it easy to make in JS4.1.1 "All photos" display realy all photos (user's alnums and group's albums)? If it can be done (or somebody asked about that at the support forum) - please give a link / tip, I'll aks webmaster to customise it. Does we need to edit only templates\jomsocial\layouts\album\list.php or something more? Thanks.
Xristoph ConradDmitry it seems to be working for me, just updated on my test site to verify. Have you made a new menu item of the type All Photos? It's towards the bottom of the Community menu types.

Xristoph ConradAhhh, sorry, nevermind... I forgot you wanted photos from Groups. Hummm... that would clutter my sites generalized photos but I can understand the desire or need for this feature. Perhaps if you have a "Bird Watching" site and groups represent different types of birds... but then again, that's what Albums are for.
Mind me asking why you'd need a configuration like this?10 years ago
DmitryHi. Yes, I recreated (updated) menu item for "Photos". In JS4.0 when I clicked on "All photos" it displayed both - User's + Group's albums. Now in JS 4.1. I can see - it separetes on "Member Albums" and "Group Albums" We have lots of interested albums in Groups. But lots of guest visiters can't notice "Group Albums" link and they miss great album. Xristoph ConradWhat if you mark your group albums as "Featured" and then create a menu to Featured Albums?10 years ago
DmitryNo, thanks. Really need to display "All photos" (Members + Groups) as before in JS4.0.10 years ago
Xristoph Conradwhen you go to view photos, just copy the URL from the Album Photos (see image) and then you can make a new menu item of type "External URL" which will allow you to paste in the copied link. Then you can try to make this new menu more prominent.
You could also make a graphic that says "More Photos Here" or Group Photos and make this image have the link you copied.10 years ago
DmitryThanks for the suggestion. I will use it as PLAN B if will not make any customise 10 years ago
DmitryOK, I'll use this trick:
1) Create fake menu item "All photos" (1-page) that instead of com_community will display just few modules "User's album", "Group's albums", "Event's albums" with latest albums.
2) Create few submenu items "User's album", "Group's albums", "Event's albums" (like you said).
3) Add some icons to language INI-file to make it more noticeable (like at the picture).
