So, my question, when is Jomsocial 4 actually out ? I have read the blogs, and if buying want to not mess about with the old one before the new one is out, rather just go in with the new !

Most likely during March for a stable release. Personally, I would wait until the first bug fix release of 4.0, so 4.0.1
