So, with the new ACL, is it possible to completely wall off a jomsocial site behind a login? Despite having a login page, people can still access parts of the site if they have the direct link (for items that are set as public).
Basically looking for something just like facebook, where you cant see a thing unless you're logged in =)

Gavin That's a shame, I wouldn't know where to begin. Could be a project for jomsocial in the future though. Required login would make sites much more active if people really want to be there =) 7 years ago

a Guest Around line 13 of the guest.php file add <?php $this->renderModules('my_custom_module'); ?> Then when editing modules, add 'my_custom_module' (rename it to what you want) and whatever module you select will be displayed in JomSocial's login banner positon. Lastly select members only to prevent stream being visible unless signed in.

a Guest You can add as many code snippets as you like one after the other, the net result is that it will treat each position like a responsive module and stack them vertically. If you set the same specified position for more than one module, they will become tabbed. So you have two options, stacked and/or tabbed modules on JomSocial's default homepage. 7 years ago
