I need some advise regarding terms of service and privacy policy. Do I need either and if I do does it have to be written by a lawyer, also I read something about the site must support "do not track" how can I tell if my site does support that.
I am in the US and running a simple Jomsocial site with about 500 users.
MichałThis depends from your country or state law. For example in my country (Poland) if I register users sensitive data like first and last name, phone number, sex, address and so on I need to register my data base in special office. This requires to have terms and service, privacy policy and security policy.
It doesn't heave to be written by a lawyer - you may find ready-made policies in Internet...This depends from your country or state law. It doesn't heave to be written by a lawyer - you may find ready-made policies in Internet. But it will be very good if a solicitor at least take a look at it.
But first check what your state/country law obligate you to introduce on your site.Show more9 years ago
