Hi, anyone have any ideas on this? Sadly initial Jomsocial support doesn't seem to appreciate the issue only occurs when using 4.0.5 not 3.2.1.6.

Andrew i find it very hard to believe Alan but am still doing some investigations ... since using 4.0.5 my VPS server also overloads sky high! Serious down times and slow page loads. ive installed memcached on the server, ive seen it working but not stable because its super fast now and then super slow again randomly ... (still-investigating) (Tip try disabling Members module) 9 years ago

Alan Interesting, glad I'm not alone. I disabled all modules and also turned off infinite scrolling, auto refresh notification and new post refresh. Definitely something not right, did you experience the same in 4.0.3 and below? 9 years ago

Andrew ok Alan its a clear fact .. JS 4.0.5 affects your server functionality. i can feel it in my backend , since i downgrade back to 4.0.3 its working perfectly. think Siniša Krišan and the team need to take a deep look at this, with JS 4.0.5 everything starts to move extremely slow , both front and backend , not only on the directory that jomsocial is installed but the whole server itself gets... a Guest Hi Guys,Lets slow it down for a second (no pun intended) This could be caused by a trillion reasons and one maybe Jomsocial, but lets work it out properly. 1. Alan i will send you a PM so we can work out how to organise your site to be using 4.0.5 so we can actually test it and see what the problem is under load. 2. Andrew. If you are having issues with 4.0.5 please raise a support ticket and... Show more 9 years ago
