I've got the email from Plimus.com but where is my copy?

I want to sign up for $1 trial, but Paypal payment page shows I need to pay 2 installments of $148. I thought I only need to pay once.

We are aware of the misleading phrases in Paypal payment page. '2 Installments' in that page include the the first $1 payment. So you will only pay the first $1 charge and the second installment of $148 after 30 days.

I signed up to my account and click "My Account" link at the top. It says I don't have a valid license.

You might not have setup the correct email for your account. To make it work properly, you JomSocial/Forum email must be the same with your purchase email from Plimus. You will get VIP tag for your username as well.

and change your email address according to the one that you've used to make the purchase.

I've run out of domain changes but I still need to change it.

We track the domain to allow us to give priority support to our paid members. After 3 times of domain changes, kindly contact us (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to reset your domain counter. The system is designed to prevent abuses, not to limit you in any way.

Where is GPL free copy?

JomSocial is a subscription based GPL-licensed product. With an active subscription, a customer would be able to download the latest version of JomSocial and receive priorited support as along as the subscription is still valid.
