I see, I suggest you disable jumbotron module, because if you wanna make it looks like Jomsocial banner we cant help you, and use original jomsocial banner instead and make it fit with your needs

I really would like to get rid of this, without having an empty space there, and without it hiding the whole component...is there a way?
