please changing your php configuration for:
max_execution_time from 30 to 3000
max_input_time from 60 to 300
max_input_vars from 1000 to 5000
memory_limit from 526 to 1024

we need to try this because your site having huge stream data.

I have posted a videolink in the first post so that you can see what my experience is. I have tested with regular user and other admin account and i had the same experience. Michal also knows more about this issue so please contact him for details.

btw.. i also wish to update JS to 4.2... do i otherwise need to do that first?

This issue related with this php library Zend OPcache, please you disable it.. and if you want you can use another 3rd party cache component
