This is very weird, I also get some notification, some of notification is working fine and some of them not.. I think this issue cuased by your Joomla component or from the 3rd party extension.

Let me explain this issue further..
1. Please you open this file components/com_community/libraries/core.php
2.find this code :

$base = $uri->toString(array('scheme', 'host', 'port'));

$base = "http://www.theforcebook.com/";

So I applied your change and got this error, making the site totally inaccessible

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/theforce/public_html/components/com_community/libraries/core.php on line 1185"

The site is coming up fine now. Can you tell me the change in case we get an upgrade and I have to manually apply the fix myself?

well, you can see line 1185-1186 for my change..

You had an extra "/" that brook the link. I have changed it

" $base = " www.theforcebook.com ";"

I have not seen this happen since the fix. Thanks very much. Going to mark this as fixed.
