Hi,

OK, NO JOY again as the line below does not exist either....

<a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=photos'); ?>"><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_FRONTPAGE_VIEW_ALL_PHOTOS'); ?></a>

I have uploaded the default.php that I found in modules/mod_community_groups/tmpl/
maybe that will help you identify what to change.

Hi Gordon,

I found 2 jomsocial on your site, on your root folder and /site/ folder, I changed the code both of them
/site/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/albums.php
/site/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/photos.php
/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/default.php

thank you

HI ,
And Thank You for that, but it seems to have had an unintended side effect..

The problem is this... I Also have a Menu selection under main menu->club Calendar->Photos.. That used to display all the photo's (and because there were ONLY group photos, it would faulted to "Group Photos"), when you select the photo's menu.

But Now it defaults to member photos just like the above issue, and displays a message "No photo albums created yet", when there are group photos to show..

How do I fix this to display the group photos, and not default to "Member photos"?

NO NO NO,
You have totally screwed my site!
You have a community login page now where there used to be just a photos page. I DO NOT EVER WANT TO DISPLAY THAT LOGIN PAGE!!!!!
I want the "club-calendar->photos" menu to go to Where the "all photos" link USED to go. Now its giving me "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator."!!!!!!

Please put it back the way it was. this is causing me considerable anxiety and time. I am NOT getting paid by my customer to clean up your stuff and I have spent WAY more time on this than I should have, had it worked properly (not with bugs) in the first place.
PLEASE put it back to where it was yesterday!!!!

I am sorry, seems my solution is not the proper solution :) I already rervert it back

since we dont have options to select the photos group on Joomla menu manager, so the only solution is by hacking the menu URL from phpmyadmin, would you mind provide me phpmyadmin access, please?

I also have another solution by modify the menu configuration, but I afraid it will break your site again :)

thank you

Hello,

You DID NOT Remove ALL the elements you changed, because how when I see the page "club-calendar" and I click the link at the bottom of the photos section that says. "View all photos" It goes to a LOGIN Page that says "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator." but the Group photos are set as PUBLIC. Please fix this immediately!

Thanks
Gordon.

because you was disabled this menu "Photos (Alias: photos2)" last time I checked this that menu was enabled..

I see you created new menu "Photos (Alias: photos3)" set it as iframe (thats why you disabled the photos2), that is good solution but not the proper solution..

I understand you wanna change the Photos menu to Group Photos instead Members Photos, I can fix it.. but I need your phpmyadmin access..

thank you!

OK,
Thank You for fixing the permissions, and Yes, the wrapper didn't work.

Hopefully that will take care of it. What about updates. will they mess with these changes?

Thanks
Gordon

[PROBLEM SOLVED]
Dimas,
Thank you for hanging in with me on this situation. It is completely resolved. Again, i am a little worried what will happen when I get an update, but I guess I will have to deal with that then.
Thanks YOU again for all your hard work.

Hi Gordon,

To avoid the conflict when you do upgrade I suggest you override these files :
/site/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/albums.php
/site/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/photos.php

please read this to how override joomla module docs.joomla.org/How_to_override_the_outp...rom_the_Joomla!_core

thank you!
